  • Assignment
    • One is as an Online Assignment such as an essay, while the other is as an Offline Assignment which tends to be more instructional. Online Assignments can be submitted into the system directly, while Offline Assignments generally operate by the instructor giving the student a task or project to complete and the student reporting back once they have completed the assignment.
  • Certificate
    • Download the certificate. Can use default or custom background image as well as custom fields applied.
  • Chalkboard
    • Chalkboards are very versatile and are best when you wish to use – or combine – video, audio, and/or slides, as well as Checkpoints and Chapter Points.
  • External Site
    • Comprised of anything you want learners to see that is hosted elsewhere on the internet, such as a blog, youtube video, a third party survey from an external survey provider or Google Forms, et cetera.
  • File
    • Any information you may need the student to download and keep – such as a syllabus or workbook.
  • Instructor Led
    • You can host a live training element within your course. The live session itself is delivered through a third-party webinar tool such as GoToMeeting or Zoom but is created within DigitalChalk, automatically scheduled and sent, and then easily accessed by your students from within the course.
  • Learning Package
    • A Learning Package is any package file content you need to upload into DigitalChalk. This includes SCORM, xAPI, AICC, web archives and PowerPoints. AICC and SCORM are both common standards for e-learning content. In DigitalChalk,  AICC Elements give you the ability to upload AICC content that you’ve created in a software authoring tool. AICC and SCORM elements are very similar in that you’ll need some type of authoring software like Articulate Storyline or Camtasia to create the content, which you can then upload to DigitalChalk to host, deliver, and grade.
  • Survey
    • Can be used either as a single survey, such as for the end of the course, or can be used multiple times in a course, perhaps at the end of each module or lesson. This is a non-graded element that allows you to collect feedback from students and then create reports to look back on the collected data.
  • Test
    • Tests can be created with any number of 13 different question types along with a full array of other testing options you can employ to fully test the knowledge of your student.
