DigitalChalk does not charge sales tax or VAT on course purchases. DigitalChalk sells and delivers online training on behalf of our customers as a professional service, not as an item subject to sales tax.  The delivery of online education services is not subject to sales tax in North Carolina per the NC Department of Revenue.

DigitalChalk has no current plans to begin collecting sales tax or VAT from customers unless the laws for the state of North Carolina change.  If your state requires you to collect sales tax for online course sales, you will need to build that into the price of your course
