You can control how strict your password requirements are with the following options:

• Required Length
  • Set the minimum and maximum number of characters
• Required Rules
  • Set how many of the character rules (if any) the password must meet
• Characters Rules
  • These options allow you to specify minimum number of characters for alphabetic characters, numeric characters, symbols, uppercase characters, and lowercase characters
• Allow Whitespace
  • Allow whitespaces (such as spaces, tabs, carriage returns, and line feeds) as part of the password
• Reset
  • Set a timer of a certain number of days before the password must be reset
• History
  • Set how many historically unique passwords are required
• Locking
  • Set how many incorrect passwords can be tried before the login page is locked out, and how long it is locked out
