On the last day of the month, DigitalChalk automatically reconciles your account. The total sales for the month are calculated, then the delivery and credit card fees are deducted from your sales. If your total sales are greater than your fees, you’ll receive a payout. Depending on the payment method you choose, you’ll receive your payout no later than the 15th of the following month. So, for example, you would receive your June payout on or before July 15th.
You can choose between two payment options – check or direct deposit into your bank account. We prefer to deliver your payout via direct deposit for the following reasons:
- Security – ACH is a very secure method of payment, both for you and for DigitalChalk. And there’s never any problem with lost or stolen checks.
- Faster processing time – Payouts are normally deposited into your bank account one to two business days after processing. No need to wait for the check to arrive in the mail.
- Convenience – No running to the bank for a deposit. You’ll receive an email confirmation when the payment is processed, and the money flows right into your bank account!
Within fifteen business days of your first DigitalChalk payout, you’ll receive an email invitation from our payment processor to set up direct deposit for your payouts. Just follow the instructions in the email. The banking information is never seen by either DigitalChalk or our payment processor.
NOTE: Direct deposit of payouts is only available for bank accounts in the United States.
